On April 23, XRDC is teaming up with XR chapters and climate activists around the world for a day of divestment from institutions that finance fossil fuels. We're encouraging everyone to move their personal funds to a bank that is socially and environmentally responsible.

The megaphone is one of the most powerful tools in the activist’s arsenal. At this training, a seasoned rebel rouser will share tips and tricks for using the megaphone effectively at our rallies. The rebel rouser plays a crucial role at our events, keeping the energy high and letting passers-by know what's going on. The Metro DC Chapter of Democratic Socialists of America are teaming up with XRDC for a weekend prep session for our next major climate strike. Members of XRDC will be sharing the science that compels us to take bold and radical action, as well as the reasons why nonviolent civil resistance is our best hope to avert climate catastrophe. Members of MDC DSA will discuss how we can use our collective tools to push for an ecosocialist Green New Deal. Then, an experienced trainer will lead an online direct action training. This session will take you from uninformed to ready for action in just a few hours!
