On December 6, Extinction Rebellion DC will be teaming up with the Shut Down DC-Climate Strike Washington, DC Coalition to bring business-as-usual at the World Bank Complex to a halt.

We're calling on world leaders at the COP25 to enact binding climate agreements, in solidarity with XR protesters in Europe, and demanding that the World Bank and IMF immediately halt all direct and indirect funding of fossil fuel development.

In preparation for the December 6 Day of Action, Extinction Rebellion DC will be offering a roadblock training to prepare our activists for taking the street. We'll be going over how to safely move in and out of intersections, how to make quick decisions as a group, and how to de-escalate tense situations.

If you want to join us on December 6, but have never blocked a road, this is a great way to get some experience!

Food will be provided.

This training will be taking place in the Dining Room of St Stephen's: enter through the side door, then go down the steps, turn left, and follow the hallway.
